Behind the Work
Nice to meet you I am Gen!
Creating art has always been something deeply personal to me. For a long time, I mostly made pieces as gifts, and one of my favorite parts of that was seeing how happy and genuinely touched people were when they received something made just for them. That feeling stayed with me, and eventually made me realize I wanted to finally take the step of sharing my work more openly.
I primarily create digital art, though I also work with gouache, which often influences the color palettes I use digitally. A lot of my inspiration comes from movies, especially landscapes and the way certain scenes create atmosphere. I’m also drawn to fantasy, shaped in part by years of playing D&D, as well as the emotion and beauty found in Romanticism. I love creating pieces that feel a little immersive, expressive, and full of mood.
Starting this shop is both a creative goal and a personal one. I’ve always wanted to see if I could make it as an artist, and this feels like the right moment to try. It’s also part of building more independence for myself and creating something meaningful through work I genuinely care about.
